How many dogs are in each class?
In order to provide you and your dog with individualized attention, classes are kept small with a maximum of 5-6 dogs in each class. Rally classes have a maximum of 8-9 dogs per class.
Where are classes held?
Our classes are held at the Redwood City – Woodside Plaza, Redwood City – Sequoia Station, Palo Alto, Burlingame and Pacifica Pet Food Express stores. Rally classes are held in Half Moon Bay at Jump’n Java – Sun Studios which is an outdoor agility center.
Can my whole family including children attend?
Yes! The more family members that can attend the better for your dog! Everyone will then be on the same page in terms of what is being taught and how to communicate with your pup.
Children are welcome as long as they are well-behaved and are not disruptive during the class. Children under 18 must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Children under 8 years old should have a second adult present to supervise them during class.
Do I need to provide proof of vaccinations?
Yes. Proof of vaccinations is required and can be emailed or brought to the first class. For all classes other than Puppy Manners Part 1, DHPP and Rabies are required and Bordetella is recommended. For Puppy Manners Part 1, at least one, preferably two DHPP vaccines are required and Bordetella is recommended.
Does my dog come to the first class?
The first class for Basic Manners and Puppy Manners – Part 1 is an orientation without dogs. For all other classes, the dogs come to the first class.
How do I enroll in a class?
Visit the Class Schedules and Registration page to find the class you’d like to enroll in. Click the Register button and fill out the enrollment form. When you submit the form you’ll be taken to an online payment page where you can submit your enrollment fee via Paypal or Credit Card. It also gives you the address to send a check if you prefer that payment method. When we receive your form and payment, we will email you a confirmation and your space in class will be reserved.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Online payment can be made using Paypal or a Credit Card. You may also mail a check to Just Rewards, LLC, P.O. Box 370878, Montara, CA 94037.
What happens if I miss a class?
The homework for the missed class will be emailed to you. You’re also encouraged to come to class early the next week to ask any questions or receive additional help with the lesson you missed.
